Simplify The Operating Process–or STOP for short–is an initiative designed to stop bureaucracy at Vanderbilt, and make it easier to GO forward with your work.
Faculty and staff may provide input and suggestions that could
- improve the education experience
- support the mission of teaching, research, and patient care
- simplify administrative processes
- enhance services
- reduce costs
- increase effectiveness
A task force made up of a cross section of faculty and staff review, prioritize, and act on simplication ideas generated by members of the Vanderbilt community. The task force may study and investigate the issue further or form a working group to study the issue. The task force facilitates implementation of improvements.
