1. Create a rough outline of your paper as you plan to revise it (use a separate piece of paper if necessary).
2. Summarize, paragraph by paragraph, your argument, either as it stands now, or as you plan to revise it.
3. Choose at least two of the questions I ask in the margins or at the end of the paper and think about how you would answer them (use a separate piece of paper if necessary).
4. Write out at least one question about my comments.
5. Revise your thesis in light of the developments you have in mind for your paper.
6. Describe your general plan for revision, making note of any areas you expect to be especially challenging.
