Healthy faculty and staff are necessary for the continued excellence in education, research and patient care that characterizes Vanderbilt. In order to support this philosophy, management has dedicated funding for a comprehensive worksite health promotion program since 1991.
The Vanderbilt Family appointment line (V-FAM) offers medical appointments to Vanderbilt faculty and staff and their immediate families within 48 hours for treatment of acute/chronic problems. The program began in December 2001, in response to feedback from faculty and staff that the waiting list for appointments with Vanderbilt Medical Center physicians and clinics was so long that employees and their families were having to seek treatment elsewhere.
For an appointment, call 615.322.3000. A patient services coordinator will guide you through the process. - HEALTH Plus - wellness and fitness for faculty and staff
- Kim Dayani Center - a medically based fitness center specializing in the identification and treatment of risk factors that contribute to the development of cardiovascular disease.
- Occupational Health Clinic - a source of convenient and compassionate care for faculty members and staff members with a primary emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and safe work environment.
- Student Recreation Center
- Work-Life Connections-EAP - resources for faculty and staff when life is challenging.
