Jerome Carr (Higher Education Administration). Dissertation Title: Recruitment Strategies for Underrepresented Minorities in Higher Education in Face of Anti-Affirmative Action Legislation: A Descriptive Study. Jerome is president of Carr and Associates and is on the faculty of Middle Tennessee State University.

 

David Fender (Higher Education Administration). Dissertation title: Student and Faculty Issues in Distance Education, Occupational Safety and Health Graduate Programs. David is on the faculty at Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky.

 

Kevin Howell (General Administration and Leadership). Dissertation title: Effective Use of Case Websites. Kevin is on the faculty at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.

 

Jill Mertz (General Administration and Leadership). Dissertation title: Teachers’ Perceptions of Principals' Humor Styles: Its Effect on Teacher Satisfaction and Burnout. Jill is a teacher in the Maryville School System and a former developer and evaluator of the Tennessee Career Ladder program.

 

Patricia Smith  (School Administration). Dissertation title: A Study of Change Style and Levels of Burnout Experienced by Public School Principals in the City of Chicago. Pat is a former teacher in the city schools of Chicago and is currently engaged in an enterprise with her husband in Chicago.
