Real Estate Operations consists of Vanderbilt University Real Estate (VURE), Vanderbilt Legends Club, and the Office of Traffic and Parking. Vanderbilt University Real EstateVanderbilt University Real Estate serves institutional needs through its holdings of over 2 million gross square feet. We provide for future campus growth and assist in influencing the quality of our campus borders through strategic investments in area real estate and by providing support for the Hillsboro Village area.
Vanderbilt University Real Estate provides administrative office space, office swing space for Vanderbilt departments with short-term needs, and clinic space for Medical Center departments. We provide the option of convenient apartment rentals to faculty, students and staff as well as convenient outpatient housing in furnished units on a monthly basis through our multi-family holdings. Our commercial holdings also provide space for area businesses as well as additional parking options. Vanderbilt Legends ClubVanderbilt Legends Club is the home of the Vanderbilt University Men’s and Women’s golf teams and offers discounted rates to all Vanderbilt faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Vanderbilt Legends Club is located in Franklin, approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Nashville, and 30 minutes from Nashville International Airport. Office of Traffic and ParkingAll students, faculty, and staff within University Central must register and park in facilities controlled by the Office of Traffic and Parking. Parking for Medical Center faculty and staff is managed by the Medical Center.
For University Central, approximately 7,500 spaces are located across more than 100 separate parking facilities. Parking is administered by “zone” allowing users to traverse the shortest possible distance to destinations. Each zone contains a known supply of parking spaces and a known supply of students, faculty, and staff. Adjustments are made in zone assignments as changes occur on campus.
