Mission Statement

The Vanderbilt Institute for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (VINSE) supports nanoscale research throughout the Vanderbilt Campus and beyond. A major resource is the nano-materials fabrication laboratory in the Stevenson Science Center, Building 6, 2nd floor, featuring a class 10,000 cleanroom. The facility is available to all Vanderbilt-Fisk faculty and other interested parties.

Hours of Operation

Hours of operation have been extended to Mon-Fri 8A until midnight, Sat&Sun 8A thru 6P.

Nano-Carbon Laboratory




A VINSE Laboratory User Orientation is provided most Tuesdays at 10A in the VINSE Conference Room, Stevenson Science Center RM 6217. Reservation is required. Please contact the Laboratory Director for further information.
