Learning Center Resouces
The Learning Center offers a Tutored Study Hall for Introductory Physics courses, free of charge, to any student who wishes to attend. The study hall is in 1120 Stevenson on Monday 4-6, Tuesday 4-6 and Wednesday nights, 7-9 p.m. This study hall will continue until the end of the semester. If you are struggling with homework or concepts, please consider going!
The second semester of the calculus-based introductory course in physics continues with wave and ray optics, electricity and magnetism, and quantum physics and its applications. The schedule of lectures can be found on the sidebar for the Web site. It is expected that reading assignments will be completed prior to the class, so that less time can be spent on derivations and more time on understanding the physics and its applications in an engineering context.
