Our purpose:

The Applied Linguistics Association (ALA) at Vanderbilt University is a student organization whose goal is to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas relating to issues in applied linguistics, especially those which concern its relevance to teaching and learning.

What: Does the Purpose Change the Pedagogy?  Theoretical and Pedagogical  Perspectives on Language Learning in the Liberal Arts Tradition and in "The Real World"

This event is open to all.  Boxed lunches will be served to the first 40 attendees.
