This student has applied to Vanderbilt but an admissions decision has not been made.
The purpose of the alumni admissions interview is to provide prospective students with the opportunity to ask questions about Vanderbilt and to provide the Admissions Office with another perspective of the applicant. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions already has information regarding grades, test scores, extracurricular involvement and honors for this applicant. Thus, your appraisal should provide the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with insight about the applicant that goes beyond the objective data. Information about conducting the interview can be found on the CoRPs Interviewing Information and Training page..
