Cancellation Policy
GeoTrust offers a 7 day grace period for canceling a certificate purchase. If you purchase a certificate through ITS and you need to cancel your order, please contact software.store@vanderbilt.edu within 7 days of obtaining the certificate to request a refund.

 





Note: GeoTrust will send the SSL certificate to the group mailbox you specify.  You may need to configure your group mailbox so that it accepts mail from outside of Vanderbilt.  You should also configure your email account so that you are automatically notified when email comes into your group mailbox.

Competitive Replacement
If you have an active certificate issued by a GeoTrust competitor, you are eligible for GeoTrust's competitive replacement.  You will receive up to 12 additional free months added onto your certificate depending on when you current certificate expires.  In order to perform this upgrade, GeoTrust will connect to your server and validate that a current active competitive certificate exists for the same fully qualified domain name that you are ordering.
