Students may elect this interdisciplinary major consisting of 39 hours of course work, as follows:
1. At least 18 hours in Russian language, literature, and culture, including 12 hours of Russian language beyond first year and 6 hours selected from the courses in English offered by the Russian program.
2. At least 12 hours in European Studies, history, and political science.
3. At least 9 hours of approved electives in the advanced Russian language, political science, and history.
Courses taken in Russia or elsewhere will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
