Summer in Russia Semester in Russia Faculty Contact Us		The Russian Program is part of the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages. The Chair of the department is Dieter Sevin. Director of Undergraduate Studies in Russian is Konstantin Kustanovich (on leave in 2007/08 academic year). Other faculty members in the Russian Program are David Lowe (Acting Director of Undergraduate Studies) and Irina Makoveeva, Mellon Assistant Professor. The Russian program has a special commitment to undergraduate training in all aspects of Russian culture and language. Opportunities for Russian studies in other departments are provided through courses in History, Political Science, European Studies, and Fine Arts. Many students find it beneficial to combine a Russian major with a second concentration in a related field, science, or law.
