Conference participants will be staying at the Nashville Marriott at Vanderbilt University, located at 2555 West End Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37203. The hotel phone number is (615) 321-1300, and the fax number is (615) 321-1400. Check-in is at 4:00pm, and check-out is at 12:00 noon.
To get to the hotel from the airport, take I-40 West to Exit 209A (Broadway). Turn left onto Broadway, and when the road forks, continue straight, which will put you on West End Avenue. The hotel will be on your left in approximately one mile.
The estimated taxi fare from the airport is $15.00, one way. There is also a shuttle to the hotel from the airport via a Grayline Bus for $12.00, one way or $18.00, round trip. The shuttle runs every half hour from 5:30am until 11:30pm, and no reservation is necessary. To catch the shuttle, go to the baggage claim area on the lower level of the airport terminal.

To get to the Sarratt Student Center (Friday):
When exiting the front door of the hotel, turn right, and take another right at the end of the building onto 25th Avenue. Go two blocks, and take a left onto Vanderbilt Place. Vanderbilt Place dead-ends at the Sarratt Student Center in one-and-a-half blocks. Enter Sarratt through the main entrance, go past the Welcome Desk on your left, and follow the small hallway. When the hallway opens up into a lounge area, you will see the double doors leading to room 189 to your right.
To get to the Bishop Joseph Johnson Black Cultural Center (Saturday):
When exiting the front door of the hotel, turn right, and take another right at the end of the building onto 25th Avenue. Go two blocks, and take a left onto Vanderbilt Place. Go one block, and take a right onto 24th Avenue. Go one block, and take the first left onto Commodore Place. Follow Commodore Place at it curves around to the left. The Black Cultural Center will be on your left, immediately following the Robert Penn Warren Center. Take the first entrance into the Black Cultural Center that you come to (the new section), and you will immediately be in the lobby outside of the conference room.
