Vanderbilt's Sedimentology Lab
Welcome to Vanderbilt University's laboratory for sedimentology. This lab is a facility dedicated to understanding sedimentary processes and climatic cycling over a broad range of spatial and temporal scales. Studying landform evolution is particularly relevant since it can help us predict how coastlines will respond to changes in climate and sea level, and how heavily populated areas, such as many of Asia's developing countries, naturally accumulate arsenic in their groundwater.
