Naomi Schor Memorial Award

The Naomi Schor Memorial award recognizes the best essay by a graduate student making a presentation at the annual meeting of the Nineteenth-Century French Studies Colloquium. Graduate students wishing to be considered for the award must send a complete version of their talk as an RTF (Rich Text Format) attachment to Larry Schehr (schehr@ad.uiuc.edu) by 5:00pm Central time on Thursday, October 2, 2008. This should be the final version of the paper that will be read. Submissions may be in English or in French, however, those over the standard length (8-10 pages, double-spaced) will not be considered. The awards committee will evaluate the papers and the award will be announced at the Colloquium Banquet on Saturday, October 18, 2008.

Contributions to the Naomi Schor Memorial Award Fund may be made by check payable to “Nineteenth-Century French Studies.”
