Video Bridge Service Available to Vanderbilt Community   printer

A video bridge service is now available to the Vanderbilt Community through Vanderbilt Information Technology Services (ITS).
Using a Polycom MGC-50 multiple conference bridge, users can connect to multiple-endpoints, connect to sites using different video protocols, and take advantage of alias addressing schemes.

Complete information is available on the ITS website at
http://its.vanderbilt.edu/services/videobridge/

Community members can schedule bridge-enabled video conferences through the Tandberg Management Suite (TMS). This web application requires a VUnetID and password. You’ll also be asked to supply conference information, such as date, time and participants. The video bridge manager reviews and approves requests to ensure adequate resources are available. For scheduling information, click the TMS Quick Start Guide link on the website.
You’ll also find information on best practices, getting help, available facilities, desktop video conferencing, and firewall issues.
