DESCRIPTION:MEDIA ADVISORY\: Commencement set for Vanderbilt University\n(Editors Note\: During morning drive time\, traffic will be heavier thanusual on West End Avenue near Vanderbilt from about 7\:30 to 9 a.m.because of commencement.)\nMore than 3\,000 students will receive diplomas at VanderbiltUniversity's graduation exercises Friday\, May 14\, starting at 9 a.m. onAlumni Lawn\, near West End Avenue and 23rd Avenue North. ChancellorGordon Gee will give the commencement address to the graduates.\nFollowing Chancellor Gee's address\, graduates from the graduate andprofessional schools will recess at about 10\:15 a.m. for separatehooding and diploma-awarding ceremonies. Undergraduates will stay onAlumni Lawn to receive their degrees. The ceremony on Alumni Lawn willbe cybercast live starting at 9 a.m. with a link at http\://www.vanderbilt.edu [http\://www.vanderbilt.edu].
