Scott Pearson, associate professor of surgery, and author of the novel Rupture, recently sat down with John Seigenthaler for a taping of his show, Word on Words. The program will air on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 10:30 a.m. PBS.
Rupture is a thriller set at a teaching hospital in Memphis. Pearson’s clinical practice in general surgery and surgical oncology is at the Nashville V.A. Hospital and he has does research in a lab in Medical Center North. An old building that will seem suspiciously familiar to those with offices in Medical Center North is the site of a murder in Rupture.
