The annual football game against the University of Tennessee is Saturday evening. Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos led the cheers Nov. 18 in Kirkland Hall, where each year staffers decorate their offices to help the campus get ready for the big game.

"The Kirkland Hall Pep Rally, which has quickly become a favorite tradition, provides an opportunity for faculty, staff and administrative leaders to show our support for the football team in a fun and spirited way," Zeppos said. "From our door decorations contest to writing and performing original cheers, the residents of Kirkland Hall really get behind this effort and are eager to demonstrate their excitement for our beloved Commodores.  I am so proud of all of our student-athletes and salute their dedicated commitment to representing Vanderbilt through outstanding sportsmanship and leadership. Go ‘Dores!"
