Chancellor, Mayor step out for fitness

Both Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos and Nashville Mayor Karl Dean emphasized the importance of regular exercise at the conclusion of a special walk across the Vanderbilt campus on Thursday, Oct. 14. The walk, sponsored by Health Plus, was held to encourage people to join the Start! program and walk, or exercise, on a regular basis.
Senior leaders and employees met at five different locations around campus and walked to Health Plus where they were treated to smoothies and healthy sandwiches on the balcony overlooking the stadium.
