Flu season is right around the corner so keep yourself healthy by getting your seasonal flu vaccine.
Flu shots from the Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) for seasonal flu will be available for staff and faculty in the tent on the plaza in front of the Eskind Library on September 7, 8, 9, 10 and again on Sept 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. TB skin tests will also be available.
Everyone coming to get a shot should have his or her ID badge.
“Fortunately, this year only one flu shot is needed, The H1N1 virus that required a separate vaccine last year is covered by the seasonal flu vaccine this year.” said Dr. Melanie Swift, medical director of the Occupational Health Clinic.
Vanderbilt Medical Students should visit Student Health to obtain their flu vaccine this year. The Occupational Health Flu Tent will serve Vanderbilt faculty, staff and volunteers.
