Legal help about flooding questions June 10 and 15
Posted 6/9/2010
A representative from Nashville’s legal community will be on hand in Light Hall room 214 to discuss various flood-related legal issues on Thursday, June 10 from 7 to 8 a.m. and Tuesday, June 15 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Lucinda Smith, managing attorney of the Nashville Office of Legal Aid Society of Middle Tennessee and the Cumberlands, and director of the Nashville Pro Bono Program, will touch on relevant legal topics that our flood-affected employees face as they continue through the recovery and rebuilding process, such as landlord tenant/housing issues, insurance claims and replacing lost documents.
For those who are unable to attend, the seminars will be streamed in real time, as well as archived for future viewing, on the Flood Resource website at: www.vanderbilt.edu/flood.
If you would like to submit a question for our guest speaker to possibly address please email your question to: employeefloodbenefit@vanderbilt.edu.
While an RSVP is not required, if you do plan to attend on June 10, let them know so they can arrange for coffee and doughnuts.
