Valentine workshop at Peabody Library Feb. 12
by Laura M. Miller
If you miss your elementary-school-crafts-class days of making valentines with safety scissors and Elmer’s School Glue, you will feel very gratified at the knowledge that Peabody Library is offering a workshop in just that time-honored childhood art form.

In short, you get to make valentines. As an adult.

The workshop is Friday, Feb. 12, from 4 to 5 pm, in Peabody Library Room 303. You don’t need to pre-register and all supplies will be provided for you: cardstock; accent papers; stamps and ink; stickers and other embellishments; and envelopes. Two die-cut machines will be available for use to cut out letters and shapes (especially hearts).

Please telephone curriculum materials center manager Lara Beth Lehman at 2.8226 with specific questions. Otherwise, feel welcome to just show up and let your adult creativity roar—and create something for your beloved in the process.
