Tax workshop at women's center Feb. 10

The Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center is hosting a new series of Do-It-Yourself workshops. At VanDIY, participants will learn practical skills related to a variety of interesting personal and professional topics. We’re all doing-it-ourselves more often these days, so come to one of our sessions and find out how you can, too.Join us Wed, Feb. 10, noon-1 p.m., in Sarratt 216/220 for a workshop about taxes. Gail Childress, CPA, will fill us in on:
• Updates for 2009 tax filing
• What to consider for your 2010 taxes, such as energy and first-time homebuyer credits
• When to itemize
• And more
Desserts and drinks provided. Please bring a brown bag lunch if you would like.
