Cintas Corporation to replace Shred-It at Vanderbilt effective November

Vanderbilt now has a contract with Cintas Document Management Corporation to provide document destruction (shredding) services for the University and Medical Center operations. Cintas will be replacing Shred-It as our primary supplier for this service.

This change will reduce our current costs by approximately 60 percent. Cintas also provides sophisticated bar code technology to monitor each individual bin in order to optimize their service.

The transition will take place during the month of November.

A Cintas representative will be contacting all current account holders, and those that apply online, to verify account information and coordinate the transition.
