DigitalVU month to include workshops, open houses, lectures and more

The second annual DigitalVU month kicks off Oct. 7. The month of workshops, open houses, lectures, discussions and more is designed to share information on all things online, from online security, to video, to programming topics and more.

"This month of workshops, discussions and open houses is designed to help students, faculty and staff learn about and access the different digital tools that can help enhance teaching, learning and communicating,” Beth Fortune, vice chancellor for public affairs, said.

Events being planned include using technology to gather and use student feedback, Camtasia, REDCap Survey, Google Alerts and Analytics, application development for mobile devices, video and many more.

Event hosts include the Center for Teaching, the Division of Public Affairs, Information Technology Services, the School of Medicine and Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center.
