A drive to garner much-needed blood donations and new registrations to the national organ donor and bone marrow registries is scheduled for Tuesday, July 7, at The Vanderbilt Clinic.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at TVC, Room 2701.

No appointments for organ donor registration or bone marrow registration are required, but appointments for donating blood are strongly recommended, as the availability for walk-ins is limited. Appointments to donate are scheduled in 15-minute intervals.

To schedule an appointment online, visit www.givelife.org and enter the sponsor code “vandy19.” Or, contact aileen.tackett@vanderbilt.edu or call 343-2375. If your preferred time is not available, e-mail Tackett with the appropriate information in case additional appointment slots are added to accommodate overflow.

Please bring your Vanderbilt I.D., a valid driver’s license or a Red Cross donor card to donate.
