C) Life Time Achievement - Individuals, coaches, athletic officials, staff members and other University officials, who were not letterwinners/athletes at Vanderbilt University, yet have rendered outstanding service to the intercollegiate athletics program through personal time, effort, interest and through many years of continued service.
Last Sept. 12, former Commodore student-athletes were selected to the inaugural Hall of Fame class.
Once nominations close on March 6, the applications will be carefully reviewed and voted upon by the Senior Athletic Administration Team.
It is important to note that any nominations made last year do not apply to this year's class. You will have to nominate again to be considered. All nominations are to include a thorough summary of why the person should be included in the Athletic Hall of Fame.
The 2009 Hall of Fame induction banquet will take place on Friday, Sept. 4. The honorees will then be recognized at halftime of the Western Carolina game the next day.
You can download a nomination form in PDF format by clicking here. You will also be able to pick one up at the Vanderbilt ticket office and the National Commodore Club in the McGugin Center or at Memorial Gym.
