The Vanderbilt Community Giving Campaign had the goal of raising $875,000 this year. The generosity of VU employees met and exceed that – raising more than $1 million for the second year in a row.  There was also participation from 25 percent of the VU community.  

 “I am absolutely delighted,” said Camilla Benbow, Patricia and Rodes Hart Dean of Education and Human Development, who chaired the campaign.

The Vanderbilt Community Giving Campaign raises funds for such charities as the United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, Community Shares and the Community Health Charities of Tennessee.
