Rocky Alvey and Pamela Martin receive Commodore Awards

A special ceremony celebrating staff with 20 - 45 years of service was held Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. at Memorial Practice Gym. Service lapel pins and certificates were presented and the 2007 Commodore Award winners -- Rocky Alvey, superintendent of Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory, and Pamela Martin, lab manager, cancer biology -- were announced.
