The AmericasBarometer is an effort by LAPOP to measure democratic values and behaviors in the Americas using national probability samples of voting-age adults.

In 2006, 20 countries were included, covering Noth America, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
LAPOP has now received funding to continue it program of surveys and research through 2014.
