Invoicing Information: Institution's billing address, billing contact name, and any other information you need us to reference on the invoice (such as a Purchase Order number).

NOTE: LAPOP accepts two forms of payment: check and wire payment. Please put in the invoicing information if you need wiring instructions included on your invoice. LAPOP is unable to process credit card payments.

Subscription Fee: the subscription fee depends on the location of the Subscriber, and, if it is an institution, the type of institution that is subscribing.

OPTION A. If Subscriber is located in the U.S., Canada, Japan, Western Europe or in a European Union member country¹, and if an institution, the Subscribing institution is a government institution, multi-lateral public institution, think tank, or a degree-granting institution of higher learning that offers a Ph.D. or Masters in political science (or government), international relations, or public policy, the subscription is an all-inclusive license fee of $1,500 fee per year.

OPTION B. If the Subscriber is located in any other part of the world, or if an institution, the Subscribing institution is a degree-granting institution of higher learning that does not offer a Ph.D. or Masters in political science (or government) , international relations, or public policy², the subscription is a flat $500 fee per year.

¹Individuals and institutions located in the U.S., Canada, Western Europe, European Union member countries, and Japan have a different type of subscription than those in other countries. This allows us to discount the cost of data sets to certain countries, providing more fair access. Countries in the European Union or who are considered to be in Western Europe are: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.
²This fee structure goes into effect March 9, 2011, applying to all licenses henceforward. It does not apply retroactively.

Access Method: There are two ways we can set up access to the AmericasBarometer data. The easiest option is IP authentication. You would provide your personal computer's IP address or institutional IP ranges, and we would set you up with one-click access to the data. The other option is to set up a unique username and password.

To find out your personal computer's IP address, go to whatismyip.net and enter the IP address the program gives you.
