Geology 110 01. Geology of National Parks.

Geologic and human history of select U.S. National Parks and Monuments. This course will provide an overview of North American geology and the processes controlling the development of geologic features; incorporate numerous hands-on learning experiences; and introduce several controversies related to land use, recreation, development, and economics. Prerequisite: EES 101 and 111 or 103 and 113 or consent of instructor. NOTE: Field trips are a required component of this course.
