The Vanderbilt University Fine Arts Gallery features six exhibitions each year that represent the diversity of artistic production today, as well as throughout the history of Eastern and Western art. In addition to exhibitions drawn from the permanent collection and organized from public and private sources, a number of traveling exhibitions are presented as well. Additionally, a portion of the gallery space is frequently dedicated to the exhibition of selected works from the permanent collection.
The gallery also sponsors lectures and other programs periodically throughout the year. Please call for a schedule. Special tours and gallery talks may be arranged by contacting the curatorial staff at (615) 343-1704.
