The Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Journal is dedicated to the publication of outstanding scholarship by all undergraduates in every academic discipline at Vanderbilt University. While the final outcome of the scholarly publication process is the wide dissemination of new knowledge across the world, the careful guidance and expertise of the faculty members and students from the Vanderbilt community is vital to the conduct of the peer review process.
The Advisory Board is composed of ten faculty members and five undergraduate students who make policy decisions and select the editorial leadership for the next year. Each undergraduate school is represented by one college student who serves a one-year term. Members are selected by faculty delegates of the Advisory Board in a competitive application process. All interested students who are nominated by a Vanderbilt faculty member are encouraged to apply.
Please feel free to contact the Editor with any questions or comments regarding the online application or the publication process by email (

michael.p.kreyling@vanderbilt.edu). We will reply to your email at our first convenience to expedite the online application.
