DESCRIPTION:The Tennessee Department of Education [http\://www.state.tn.us/education/speced/seannounce.shtml]\, in partnership with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center TRIAD [http\://kc.vanderbilt.edu/kennedy/triad/] is pleased to provide an autism-specific workshop for special education personnel titled "Blueprint for Success\: Developing Plans for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders". Teachers\, parents\, and other professionals working with students with autism spectrum disorders often face challenges when designing an individualized program for a child.\nThis workshop will equip participants with the knowledge to begin to understand the characteristics of ASD and the impact that these deficits have on learning.
