ANNOUNCEMENTS

As Dr. Gilligan described in class, the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment is an international body of experts  (over 1000) on ecology and ecosciences commissioned by the World Bank and the United Nations to evaluate the importance of ecosystems to world wealth and human welfare and to assess the major ecological threats to wealth and welfare as we look toward the future.  Take a look at their website for more information.
